The Failure of Twitter

I love twitter, it’s a great tool, and a lot of my ideas come from it. Even though I don’t make money from twitter, I still use it more than almost anything else.

But the issue is that it has problems, mostly technical. Twitter doesn’t have a perfect uptime and when it is online, features start to break down.

Understandably, it’s relatively new and learning to deal with a huge influx of new users, but it leaves to me a question I hope a lot of you twitter followers would answer.

If you could choose between the twitter team changing bugs as they happen, or taking down twitter for a week to fix the issues, which would you want?

Personally, my twitter addiction won’t let me stay away from it for a whole week!

Well, I’ve not seen much uptime problem.
I’m using twitter since few months and I’ve seen the problem only once.

When I say uptime I don’t mean that the site goes down but that you receive messages late, or miss messages totally. If you’re following a lot of people 1k+ like some “power users” that means you miss a lot of messages.
