Report Summary:

Our analysis of the data retrieved through the survey gives us insight into why people share content online.

From it, we noticed that a large group of respondents found the content they shared through social networking sites, and were more likely to re-share content passed to them from their friends. This is noteworthy because it hints to the idea that sharing does not having diminishing returns, but instead can build until a critical mass is reached.

Also, the report showed us that consumers don’t necessarily always share content they are interested in, but instead may take into consideration what others are interested in.
